This work is one of only five early prints of this image known to exist. The other examples, slightly smaller in image size, are unsigned and unstamped, in line with the artist’s practice at the time. Later prints are held in major Japanese institutions, including the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, and the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.
