Catalogue Essay
Very large and unusually light in weight, the present Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore T3 was made in collaboration with Arnold Schwarzenegger for the third Terminator film – The Rise of the Machines in 2004 as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces.
Encased in titanium, the large case diameter is compensated via its ultra-light weight, hence making the watch wearable. Furthermore, it features oversized chronograph pusher and crown guards giving a much larger appearance than its already vast 48.5mm case. Another interesting feature for the present example is that it features a domed sapphire crystal which is unusual for Royal Oak Offshores.
Presented in attractive overall condition and accompanied by the original guarantee and its correct presentation box uniquely made for this model, it is presented with 2 Terminator films for the buyer to sit back and enjoy whilst sporting the timepiece worn in the movie.
