Named after one of the founders of the Le Brassus based manufacturer Audemars Piguet, the Jules Audemars collection of timepieces was first introduced to the public in 1978, paying homage to their ingenious founder who was a renowned pioneer of complicated timepieces at the time. Said to have created over twenty complex movements, Jules Audemars used these movements as a collateral when he partnered with Edward Piguet in 1881.
The Jules Audemars collection dedicates its traditional Swiss craftsmanship to the finest tier of watchmaking. A timepiece in the collection that certainly stands out among all is the Jules Audemars Répetition Minutes Heure Sautante. Encased in a hefty round 43mm diameter platinum case with its signature polished bezel and lug surface with brushed casebands, the skeletonisized dial enables the wearer to view the intricate and complex craftsmanship of the cal. 2907 featuring jump hours, minute repeater and small seconds.
