• Trying to find a place next to a watch as iconic as the Royal Oak is no easy feat. But in 2019, Audemars Piguet took on the challenge and launched the CODE 11.59 collection for the younger, more contemporary clientele.
• This Code 11.59 Quantième Perpetuel features the now-discontinued caliber 5134, replaced in early 2025, as evidenced by the presence of case correctors to control the calendar functions. The original 2019 release of the Code 11.59 featured a perpetual calendar, and this was one of the configurations offered – a luxurious pink gold case paired with a sparkling blue aventurine glass dial. The lack of steps or contrast to delineate the calendar functions allows the numerals and graphics to appear as though they are floating upon the dial.
• The hollowed, downturned lugs, faceted mid-case, and Art Deco-inspired typography are seemingly disparate elements that combine into an extremely wearable wristwatch. Elegant yet sporty, the arched profile from the double-curved crystal completes the streamlined case design with utmost refinement. The arched profile plays with depth, perspective and light for a unique optical experience. While its internal surface is shaped like a dome, it is vertically curved from 6 to 12 o’clock.
• Our research indicates that this is the first instance of a 26394OR appearing at public auction, and it is offered in excellent overall condition complete with all of its accessories.
