Full-Cataloguing
- Automatic, perpetual calendar, moon phases, week indication, leap year indication
- 300 pieces limited edition for the Japanese market
- Incredibly attractive combination of brushed titanium case and salmon tapisserie dial
- Virtually “as new” condition and full set
Originally launched in December 2020 with 150 pieces reserved exclusively for the Japanese market, this Royal Oak iteration enjoyed such success among the worldwide Audemars Piguet collectors’ community that, in the summer of the following year, 150 additional pieces were released for the global market.
It is defined by the salmon Tapisserie dial, which beautifully contrasts with the titanium case. Not only is the chromatic effect enormously seductive, but the titanium case also grants the watch a featherlight weight. Collectors accustomed to gold or platinum perpetual calendar Royal Oaks will struggle to believe their senses when picking up this version—not to mention the equally surprising experience of wearing it on the wrist.
The present example is offered in exceptional, close-to-“as-new” condition and comes complete with its box and warranty—a proposition sure to delight both the dedicated collector seeking a hard-to-source complicated masterpiece and the casual enthusiast seeking an exquisitely beautiful and elegant wrist candy.
Audemars Piguet
Swiss | 1881A specialist in the manufacture of complications since it was established in 1881, Audemars Piguet never ceases to impress with a rich history of creating bold, even audacious, timepieces underpinned by traditional watchmaking at its finest. This Le Brassus-based Swiss manufacturer is one of only two major manufacturers still owned by the founding family. Since its earliest days, AP is considered a leader in the field of minute repeaters and grande complication pocket and wristwatches. The brand is devoted to preserving the history of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux, showcased at their superb museum in Le Brassus.
Today, the brand is best known for its Royal Oak models, a revolutionary luxury sports watch launched in 1972. Other key models include early minute repeating wristwatches, vintage chronograph wristwatches, such as the oversized reference 5020, perpetual calendar watches and the Royal Oak Offshore, first introduced in 1993.
