Not content with the ubiquitous options of steel, titanium, or gold, Audemars Piguet decided to take their innovative ceramic material to the sportiest of their offerings: the Royal Oak Offshore. In 2023, AP introduced the first all-ceramic Royal Oak Offshore, in a monochromatic black livery with silver accents. Bold, almost brutally masculine, and with a massive presence on the wrist while staying light, even the pushers and the crown are rendered in ceramic.
The finishing of the ceramic is one of the more difficult feats when it comes to case construction, and Audemars Piguet goes the extra mile to provide contrasting finishes to the case and bracelet, echoing that of the more standard materials.
Another auction debut for the model, this Royal Oak Offshore all-black ceramic example is virtually brand new and practically unworn, with all of its original accessories coming from the collection of the original owner.
