The Breguet Marine collection is one of the firm’s most important models offering collectors a rather sportier appeal compared to their traditional models. Initially introduced in 1990, the Marine collection has flourished with a diverse range of timepieces featuring various complications, materials and sizes.

The first truly modern Breuget Marine model was introduced in 2005 via the ref. 5817 adopting a sportier appeal and the first to feature a rubber strap. The present example ref. 5817 in stainless steel is a stunning sports timepiece offering a several Breguet signature details including a coin edged caseband, Breguet hands, and a beautifully executed glossy black guilloche dial.
