- Founded in 2010, Breva Genève is an independent Swiss manufacture known for merging haute horlogerie with scientific instrumentation. The Génie 01 is the world’s first mechanical wristwatch to combine timekeeping with an altimeter, barometer, weather forecast, and power reserve, powered by a proprietary movement developed exclusively by Jean-François Mojon at Chronode.
- A true mechanical instrument, the Génie 01 features hours and minutes on a smoky sapphire sub-dial, altitude indicated along the dial perimeter, and barometric pressure with weather forecasting displayed on a dedicated sapphire register. Two specially developed aneroid capsules, visible on the dial, measure air pressure with remarkable sensitivity, translating atmospheric changes into precise altitude and meteorological indications, complemented by a 65-hour power reserve display.
