This connection began in 1907, when Cartier received the royal warrant of appointment from the House of Chakri during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), coinciding with a royal visit to the Cartier flagship boutique at 13 rue de la Paix, Paris.
With 115 years of history linking Cartier and Thailand in 2022, this dial is uniquely fitted with Thai numerals, featuring the “5” written in Thai instead of the traditional hour marker. The caseback also written “Siam” in Thai, further emphasizing the significance of this special edition.
Additionally, the watch is accompanied by an exclusive collector’s box, illustrating a panther against the backdrop of Thai temples, with the case number “36” prominently displayed.
