Regarded as the "Masters of Complications", Franck Muller has produced some of the most intricate wristwatches of recent decades. Demand for the brand’s extravagant creations peaked from the 1990s into the 2000s, and many of its early round‑case models showcase its most formidable work.
A notable example that captures the maison’s spirit is the Imperial Tourbillon. Housed in a 42mm modern round case with a distinctly 1990s elegance, the watch features a finely executed tourbillon regulator visible through an aperture at 6 o’clock. A sapphire caseback reveals the hand‑engraved movement, allowing the wearer to admire the mechanics and finishing.
Offered with its original certificate and presentation box, this Imperial Tourbillon is a rare market offering and a strong example of Franck Muller’s exceptional craftsmanship.
