Catalogue Essay
- A year after the successful debut of the Erwin LAB01 in bronze, which sold out swiftly, Habring2 and the Massena Lab duo announced the Erwin LAB02 exclusively to “friends and family” via email. This limited edition features a familiar “sector” dial, rendered in a striking two-tone rose gold and silver finish, with only 50 pieces made.
- Drawing inspiration from vintage timepieces, such as the Patek Philippe reference 96, the sector dial is beautifully executed, showcasing a rose gold-plated chapter ring with a fine concentric pattern, while the silvered sections are vertically brushed for added depth.
- Encased in 38.5mm diameter, the watch is powered by the remarkable cal. A11s, an in-house hand-wound movement developed by Habring2. This movement is based on the Valjoux 7750 but has been extensively modified and improved, resulting in the impressive deadbeat seconds feature, found only in exclusive pieces from renowned watchmakers.
- Offered in like-new condition, the present watch, numbered 9, comes complete with its original accessories and an extra pair of hands, ready for the next collector to embark on a journey with this limited edition timepiece.
