Big Bang 44mm “Steel Jeans”

A fine and unusual limited edition stainless steel chronograph wristwatch with small seconds, date, “Denim” dial, warranty and box, numbered 9 of a limited edition of 250 pieces

With a strong emphasis of “The Art of Fusion”, Hublot released a series of the world’s first ever timepieces to feature a dial composed of “denim”. Encased in the traditional Big Bang case in various sizes, materials and complications, the “Jeans” collection were offered as limited edition timepieces each with only 250 examples. Breaking traditional boundaries, the contrast between the raw denim material against its refined stainless steel case is most definitely unusual though strikingly mesmerizing to witness. Further fitted with a special denim embossed rubber strap to match the dial, the present Hublot Big Bang certainly packs a punch on the wrist.

Offered with its full set of accessories from circa 2016, the present example is a fun timepiece to wear casually with a denim outfit.

Hublot

Swiss | 1980

Hublot was founded by Carlo Crocco in 1980 and named after the French word for "porthole," which resembles their iconic bezel design. Hublot's first watch followed three years of research and was the first wristwatch to be fitted with a natural rubber strap. The brand's most recognizable watch today is the 'Big Bang', which was first launched in 2005 upon the arrival of CEO and shareholder Jean-Claude Biver. Other noteworthy models are the 'Classic Fusion' and 'King Power'.
