J.N. Shapiro
Infinity Series
A like new, extremely limited and highly attractive tantalum wristwatch with meteorite and hand-guilloché dial, small seconds, warranty and presentation box
Full-Cataloguing
• This special-order piece, numbered N.28 and completed in 2021, represents a charismatic example of Shapiro’s artistry. It is distinguished by a more wearable 39mm tantalum case—the very first of its kind—produced at the request of a select group of collectors, in contrast to the brand’s usual 40mm or 42mm cases.
• The dial is a celebration of guilloché, combining a barleycorn motif along the periphery with the intricate basketweave pattern at its center and echoed again on the subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, crafted from a slice of meteorite.
• The basketweave, one of the most technically demanding engine-turning patterns, underscores Shapiro’s peerless command of the craft.
• While the design pays homage to the golden age of 17th-century horology, the watch is powered by a thoroughly modern caliber supplied by Uhren-Werke Dresden (UWD), the sister manufacture of Lang & Heyne.
• Preserved in like-new condition, this watch is offered with its complete set of box and papers.
