• Launched in November 2021 at Dubai Watch Week, this new addition to Konstantin Chaykin’s “Wristmons” cast of characters was the Minion, from Universal’s beloved 2010 movie Despicable Me and its sequels.

• While not the main stars of the movie, the Minions, small yellow creatures that are biologically compelled to seek out and serve villainous characters, serve the main character Gru (voiced by Steve Carrell). Chaykin’s horological representation of a Minion features one green and one brown eye. Only one Minion possesses heterochromia, thus, all of Chaykins Minion Wristmons are in fact, images of Bob. They wear denim jumpsuits and metal goggles, also represented in the watch.

• The Minions limited edition of 38 pieces in stainless steel follows the guidelines of the other Wristmon models; however, in order to fit the height of the goggles onto the case Chaykin had to adjust the movement and make the case slightly thicker.

• The engraved rotor also features an outline drawing of a Minion.

• Accompanied by an additional denim strap and travel box, this limited edition “Minions” wristwatch is a delightful and irreverent addition to any collector’s watch box.
