- Pocket watch has a very decoratively engraved case

Independent watchmaking no doubt plays a vital role in contemporary haute horlogerie, and Moritz Grossmann has emerged as one of Germany’s most respected houses. The brand consistently honours its 19th‑century roots, prioritizing traditional craftsmanship, precision and quality.

This unique pair exemplifies that continuity: a one‑off ATUM 37 wristwatch and an original Moritz Grossmann ladies’ pocket watch, both crafted in 18k pink gold. The pocket watch, movement no. 6126, was manufactured around 1875 and stands as a rare survivor from the first heyday of the Glashütte watch industry.

The ATUM 37 Hommage is a unique wristwatch consciously modelled on the historic pocket watch. It shares the white enameled dial and black Roman numerals, while the hands—handmade in the manufactory—faithfully echo those of the 19th‑century original.

Both pieces are preserved in excellent condition and offered with accompanying accessories. Together they present a rare opportunity to acquire unique, historically important examples that embody Grossmann’s heritage and continued dedication to traditional watchmaking.
