Incredibly rare, the Omega Speedmaster “Ultraman” ref. 145.012-67SP featured the infamous cal. 321 and furthermore is set apart by its predecessors with “SP” meaning “special pushers” for enhanced waterproof capabilities. With an estimated 50 examples fitted with the correct configuration and fitted with an orange chronographic hand, the reference is without a doubt rare. The reference also featured movement numbers ranging only from 26’076’XXX to 26’079’XXX.
The present example is presented in attractive condition with a nice and clean dial featuring an orange chronographic hand and furthermore the serial number coincides with the range mentioned above. Adding to the attraction it is confirmed by an Omega Extract from the Archives indicating the orange chronographic hand with a production date of 10th June 1968 which is the correct period for the specific watch and it was delivered to Switzerland.
