Catalogue Essay
The importance of the caliber 321 cannot be overstated, as it serves as the driving force behind the chronograph’s extraordinary space history. Inspired by the very first Speedmaster, the CK2915-1 of 1957, the present watch retains the same aesthetic while offering a unique twist. All of the original elements have been faithfully reinterpreted, but within a far more luxurious package.
Encased in 18K Canopus gold—Omega’s proprietary white gold alloy known for its brilliance and durability—this watch stands apart from the standard stainless steel models. It, however, replicates the original case size of 38.6mm, showcasing an exceptional level of finishing and polishing.
The luxurious touches continue with a dial crafted from onyx, providing a glossy, pitch-black contrast against the iconic broad-arrow hands. The tachymeter scale on the bezel is filled with black grand feu enamel and features the historical display, complete with a dot over ninety (DON) and a dot diagonal to seventy.
Offered by a Japanese collector, the watch comes full set with its original box and certificate. With all elements paying homage to the original Speedmaster, this collection is poised to become an icon in its own right, modernized to suit the tastes of contemporary collectors.

Omega
Swiss | 1848Omega's rich history begins with its founder, Louis Brandt, who established the firm in 1848 in La Chaux de Fonds. In 1903, the company changed its name to Omega, becoming the only watch brand in history to have been named after one its own movements. A full-fledged manufacturer of highly accurate, affordable and reliable watches, its sterling reputation enabled them to be chosen as the first watch company to time the Olympic Games beginning in 1932. Its continued focus on precision and reliability ultimately led their Speedmaster chronograph wristwatch to be chosen by NASA in 1965 — the first watch worn on the moon.Key models sought-after by collectors include their first, oversized water-resistant chronograph — the reference 2077, early Speedmaster models such as the CK 2915 and 2998, military-issued versions of the Seamaster and oversized chronometer models such as those fitted with their prestigious caliber 30T2Rg.
