The outer caseback is delicately engraved with the initials HT, the inner case back is engraved in Dutch with words of gratitude from a business partner to H Turing for his retirement as British consul and dated August 1, 1913.
The generous case size enhances the deep and crystalline chimes. Enhancing the general desirability of this timepiece is the fact that it comes full with original fitted box, original Certificate of Origin and Guarantee as well as rate results ("relevé de marches quotidiennes)" undertaken by Patek Philippe and dated October 25, 1913.
