Catalogue Essay
The Patek Philippe ref. 5524G-001 was first introduced to the public in Baselworld 2015. With inspiration from past, it was not Patek Philippe’s first pilot’s wristwatch produced. In fact, during the 1930’s a prototype of a pilot’s wristwatch was introduced.
The present watch featuring a dark navy blue matte dial with oversized luminous numerals are ideal features of a pilot’s wristwatch for enhanced legibility. The case features an additional two crowns for the adjustment of local and home time. Furthermore, the subsidiary dial on the 6 O’clock position indicates the date.
Presented in excellent overall condition, the present watch is complete with the full set of accessories.
