The Patek Philippe Nautilus has gained phenomenal interest in the market over the past few years for both stainless steel and gold models. In 2006, Patek Philippe celebrated their 30th Anniversary of the Nautilus. By doing so, the manufacturer launched a series of new models via the references 5711, 5712 and 5980.
Launched together with its stainless steel counterpart was the ref. 5712G-001. Encased in white gold, the timepiece displays subtle differences compared to its stainless steel model, such as a smoky grey dial instead of the blue dial featured in the stainless steel model, and a crocodile strap instead of an integrated bracelet. Offering a luxurious alternative of the model, the white gold ref. 5712 is certainly a classy and elegant timepiece while retaining its sporty appeal.
The present example from circa 2008 stamped with the Geneva seal is presented in excellent overall condition with very minimal signs of wear. Furthermore it is accompanied by the full set of accessories including the original Certificate of Origin, setting pin and presentation box.
