Every year Patek Philippe creates a limited edition series of decorative and commemorative porcelain and enamel plates to reflect on the heritage of the manufacturer. Not for sale, these items are gifted to loyal guests of Patek Philippe. The present pair from 2016 and 2018 are unused and presented in excellent overall condition. The example from 2016 depicts a motif from an enamel pocket watch manufactured in 1893. The example from 2018 presents a motif from another enamel pocket watch manufactured in 1868.

Patek's complicated vintage watches hold the highest number of world records for results achieved at auction compared with any other brand. For collectors, key models include the reference 1518, the world's first serially produced perpetual calendar chronograph, and its successor, the reference 2499.
