Catalogue Essay
First released in 2006, the Patek Philippe ref. 5960 was the firm’s first in-house self-winding annual calendar chronograph wristwatch. Marking this milestone, the reference was launched first in platinum with a smoky grey dial, and in various precious metals including pink and white gold.

Extremely well-received by collectors not to a surprise, the firm’s vision on luxury sports timepiece with a bull’s eye register chronograph and pump pushers is fresh and contemporary. In continuation of this legacy, in 2014 Patek Philippe debuted yet another attractive variant, this time in stainless steel, paired with the firm’s signature rice bead bracelet fitted with a stunning silvery-white dial in contrast against strong black ring accents and racing red hands. Boasting in all angles an extremely sporty appeal and maximum comfort, an ebony black dial variant joined the bracelet lineage in 2017.

Fresh-to-the-market, the present early example ref. 5960 is preserved with an uninterrupted case, excellent overall condition, and accompanied by its certificate of origin and full accessories. Designed and built to suit every active enthusiast, this annual calendar flyback chronograph with a sharp white dial is perfect for any occasion.
