Catalogue Essay
- The Patek Philippe reference 5032 was produced from 1995 through to 2001 to celebrate the beginning of the new millennium and available via Patek Philippe's Geneva Salon. Limited to only 100 pieces, of which the present timepiece is number 06, it was one of the smallest limited editions produced by the firm for an Anniversary or Commemoration.
- The present Calatrava "Millennium" differs from the standard production 5032 in a number of ways. Showcasing dagger hour markers, five minute divisions on the outer ring and a single Breguet numeral 2 to commemorate the new decade. Lastly, the timepiece presents itself with an uncommon cabochon ruby-set crown, a charming and different twist on a standard crown.
- Patek Philippe limited edition watches celebrating anniversaries or commemorations are highly desired by collectors, with the present reference 5032J making no exception. Preserved in excellent and unpolished condition, the present Millennium timepiece is further accompanied by its full of accessories.
