Catalogue Essay
In 2007, Patek Philippe introduced the upgraded reference 5167A to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Aquanaut. The design was thoughtfully reinterpreted with several modifications to cater to contemporary collectors. Most notably, the case size was enlarged to 40.8mm in diameter, and the dial was simplified, featuring shallower embellishments with slightly more curved lines to complement the roundness of the beautifully finished octagonal rounded bezel. The date aperture is now positioned at 3 o’clock, replacing the hour marker and bringing it closer to the center of the dial. Perfectly matching the dial, the reference 5167A also features a new rubber strap, which offers enhanced texture and durability, secured with a more sophisticated double deployant clasp.

The present reference 5167A is powered by the automatic caliber 324 SC, introduced in the early 2000s and stamped with the most prestigious Patek Philippe Seal. This movement exemplifies the highest level of quality, and the exquisite Patek Philippe finishing is beautifully showcased through the sapphire caseback.

This example coming from the original owner is presented in excellent overall condition and is complete with a full set of original accessories, making it a perfect and versatile companion for everyday wear.
