Catalogue Essay
• From its beginnings, Patek Philippe has made lady’s fine timepieces from early highly attractive gem-set and enamel pendant watches to modern exceptional jewellery-style bracelet wristwatches. Their Twenty~4 model, first released in 1999, is one of the most cherished, while the brand’s famed sporty Nautilus was adapted with diamonds and other gemstones to make a luxury sports watch for women.

• The present lady’s Neptune is a wonderful representation of the modern aesthetic Patek Philippe brings to women’s timepieces. The Neptune is a lesser known collection first released in the mid 1990s with a mix of sporty and luxury timepieces. The present reference 4872 is the epitome of haute joaillerie watches. The cocktail bracelet watch functions both as a timepiece and jewellery piece. The diamond-set bezel creates a floral design around the pavé dial while the exquisiteness extends to the diamond-set bracelet. The watch is offered in excellent condition along with its Certificate of Origin and presentation box.
