Introduced in 2006, the Nautilus reference 5711 modernized the historic “Jumbo,” refining Gérald Genta’s original concept for contemporary tastes while preserving its unmistakable identity and cementing its status as the definitive luxury sports watch and a symbol of effortless, casual elegance.
Unveiled at Baselworld 2015, the reference 5711/1R marked a turning point for the collection as the first Nautilus executed entirely in pink gold, including the bracelet, and paired with a newly developed “chocolate” brown dial—a combination that proved so successful it later appeared across multiple collections by Patek Philippe.
Now discontinued and without a direct successor, the ref. 5711/1R stands as one of the most desirable modern Nautilus references, with the present example further accompanied by its Certificate of Origin and box, enhancing its appeal to discerning collectors.
