Catalogue Essay
- The present perpetual calendar chronograph is offered in Dubuis' signature Sympathie case in white gold and made at a time where the master watchmaker was still at the helm of his eponymous brand.
-Roger Dubuis was one of the first to use retrograde indications over 20 years ago and thanks to this feature the watch presents a dynamic and legible dial. the date is indicated via a retrograde hand on the left part of the dial whereas the days of the week are indicated via a retrograde hand on the right side. the week number (1-52) is inscribed on the outer periphery of the dial and indicated via a central hand, the month and leap year cycles are indicated via a subdial at 6 o'clock.
- Displaying the Geneva seal, the movement is based on the celebrated Lemania 2310 that can be found in the Patek Philippe ref 3970 and 5970.
- The present Sympathie perpetual calendar chronograph comes with an impressive set of accessories including the Besançon Observatory trial results.
