Octo Finissimo "Nuclear Option"

A very fine, attractive and “like-new” limited edition ultra slim black ceramic dual-time chronograph wristwatch with luminous dial, bracelet, warranty and presentation box, one of a limited edition of 30 pieces, made for Revolution and The Rake

I am a huge admirer of the Octo Finissimo series and the work of its designer: Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani. It amazes me how he pushes the limits both aesthetically and in the case of this ultra-thin chronograph, also technically. I was delighted to see the taste of Wei Koh mixed with the iconic Octo to create this radical design. - Mark Cho

To the new owners of the watches in the sale: The Armoury will custom-make the winner one of The Armoury’s signature garments as a gift. For further details please visit the link below.

- The Bulgari x The Rake x Revolution “Nuclear Option” Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT was officially announced and released in 2021. The watch is powered by the ultra-thin BVL 318 movement, has a power reserve of 55 hours, and a 43mm black ceramic case, a chronograph function, a 24-hour GMT function, a pusher for advancing local time by one hour, and a seconds subdial.

- Limited to an edition of 30 pieces, the present Octo Finissimo GMT is in fact the world’s slimmest self-winding watch with a chronograph and GMT function. While the case is very much "Octo Finissimo" in style and architecture, the "Nuclear Option" differs from the standard production version due to its overcharged and glowing dial.

- The present timepiece comes with its original Bulgari fitted box, outer packaging and guarantee. From circa 2021, it is preserved in “like-new" condition.

Bulgari

Italian

Originally from Kalarites, Greece, Sotirios Voulgaris emigrated to Rome because of Greece's rising poverty and difficulty separating from the Ottoman Empire. He set foot on Italian soil in 1880 with little money in his pocket and spent the next four years preparing what would go on to become Italy's oldest jewelry company.

In 1884, Bulgari opened its doors to the Italian people with its offering of jewelry and accessories. Bulgari's style takes from traditions in Greek and Roman craftsmanship to elegantly balance volume and subtlety. Later, in the late 1960s, Bulgari bridged classicism and modernity by introducing its seductive, now-iconic Serpenti collection of snake-shaped coil bracelets and watches. It is through its meticulous combination of influences that Bulgari has garnered an international and loyal high-profile clientele, which included Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. These Hollywood stars have immortalized the house's unique gem-adorned bracelets, necklaces and earrings in rounded forms.
