This famous photograph by Steven Meisel of Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington, taken for the cover of Vogue Italia in 1989, is the only Vogue cover, across all editions, to feature only these three women – popularly referred to as ‘The Trinity’.
