Ulysse Nardin was one of the first manufacturers to embrace the revival of the minute repeater. To enhance the complexity of this function, the brand incorporated automaton figures known as “Jaquemarts” onto the dial, making it the only manufacture in the world to utilize “Jaquemarts” in its minute repeaters.
Building on this concept, Ulysse Nardin pushed the boundaries of creativity by integrating animal “Jaquemarts” into a vividly colored jungle landscape depicted on two superposed cloisonné enamel dials.
