Launched in 2000, The Malte Perpetual calendar chronograph was one of the crown jewels of the Malte collection. Fitted with manual caliber 1141 which was based on a Lemania ebauche that are also used on the Historiques Chronograph series. The movement could be seen by opening the hinged case back revealing a sapphire display. One of the most appealing features of the model is the engraved moon phase disc located at 6 o’clock which further adds on to the appeal.
The present watch is well constructed, providing a hefty, comfortable fit that is modern, sophisticated looking and versatile wristwatch for everyday wear.

Vacheron's watches are admired for their Latin-influenced case designs, well-balanced proportions and exquisitely finished movements of the highest quality. The Geneva-based manufacturer is known for their highly complicated masterpieces, including the King Farouk Grand Complication made in 1935, the Tour de l'Ile that was the most complicated serially produced wristwatch when introduced in 2005 and the 57260 — the world’s most complicated watch — made in 2015.
