- J12 was first released in 1999 in ceramic, created by the Jacques Helleu and has quickly become an overnight sensation. The name was inspired by the world of yacht racing, particularly “J-class 12 meter racing yachts”. Chanel has further improved and revamps the iconic J12 with some serious changes to give the watch a refreshed look.
