Executed to the highest level of perfection, Seiko Credor is the luxury line of the manufacturer specialising in hand-finished European style timepieces with Japanese precision and craftsmanship. Launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Credor, the manufacture released the “Cherry Blossom” in 2014 as a limited edition of 40 pieces.
Housed in a beautifully finished 35mm diameter platinum case, the skeletonised wristwatch is absolutely stunning with mother of pearl inlay outer track, hand engraved bridges by master engraver Kiyoshi Terui, with three hand carved mother of pearl cherry blossoms streaming elegantly down from 2 to 5 O’clock. The cherry blossom or otherwise “Sakura” in Japanese is the national flower of Japan symbolising beauty, intensity and ephemerality of life.
The present example numbered 30 of a limited edition of 40 pieces is presented in excellent overall condition. Furthermore it is accompanied by the full set of accessories as well as a Japanese traditional tapestry made especially to commemorate the anniversary.
