In the early 1990s, Daniel Roth set out to create his own perpetual calendar wristwatch. Based on the calibre GP 3000, the present example in white gold is a rare example with two apertures for the day and month, implementing a "semi-instantaneous" perpetual calendar, pre-dating the later fully instantaneous design.

Numbered 13 and part of the early production from Daniel Roth, this timepieces is preserved in a spectacular condition. Featuring grey ruthenium finished dial with vertical guilloché, the hour and date ring in brushed finish adds an understated sheen to the overall dial. Symmetrically appealing, the month and day of the week aperture fans out just above the date indication which makes a lot of sense for the wearer to read at a glance.

Cased in the iconic white gold double ellipse case with the mentioned monochromatic dial, Roth adds a clever touch of blue and gold with the hands and moon phase that contrast beautifully overall.
