- Founded in 2004, Hautlence interprets time through technologically advanced and contemporary methods. Futuristic in its dial layout, its timepieces incorporate jumping hours, retrograde minutes, and instantaneous date.
- The present HL 03, fitted in a cushion-shaped case measuring 43.5mm interestingly represents the 16:9 ratio of a television screen. Part of a limited edition of 88 pieces, with the present timepiece numbered 24, it features an unusual mechanism driving the hour disc, the time is displayed through an aperture on a disc that is driven by an array of rods and an arched sector for retrograde minutes. As soon as the minute hand reaches 60 minutes, a connecting rod would arm a small spring with an inertia block, which will drive the rotation of the hour disc.
- Preserved in excellent overall condition, the present HL-03 is further complete of its full set of accessories.
