Slim d’Hermès was launch in 2015 as part of an essential model in Hermes watch section. Brainchild of La Montre Hermès creative director Philippe Delhotal, working together with designer Philppe Apeloig designing an entirely new typeface for the watch giving the slim self winding watch a casual yet refined look.

The present lot is a collaboration between Hermès and Hodinkee which is part of larger limited edition series. Slim d’Hermes GMT produced specially for Hodinkee with only 24 pieces and powered by Vaucher-made calibre finished exclusively for Hermès. This limited edition series is fitted with an opulent deep blue dial that was achieved through a complex process of galvanic dial treatment to ensure the right tone are achieved. Each watch is also specially engraved with the number out of 24 and 'Edition HODINKEE' fitted with a gorgeous hand stitched Hermès strap.
