Initially introduced in 2005, the Hublot Big Bang was one of the most prolific timepieces launched in the 2000s winning the “Best Design” award at the GPHG 2005 as well as numerous other awards. With a distinct appeal due to its iconic case taking its inspiration from a ship’s porthole, Hublot was also the first wristwatch to be fitted with a rubber strap. In 2009, Hublot launched a limited edition series of the Big Bang 44mm All Black II featuring an all-black appearance achieved by utilizing a black ceramic and titanium case with a blacked out dial.
