- Taking inspiration from the auto service industry, Hublot Ateliers came up with an idea that will keep their customers happy. No wrist should ever feel lonely, while customers bring their watch to the Atelier for servicing, a plastic, quartz-powered watch would be given to these individuals. The all black timepiece features a dial that is signed Hublot Atelier, a black date wheel, a dynamic red seconds hand and at 6 o’clock “NOT FOR SALE” is printed. With its good looks and its exclusivity, Hublot found itself with countless requests of the desire to purchase this ‘loaner’ watch.
- Fast forward to 2023, this prayer has finally been answered. A collaboration between Hublot and Hodinkee, a limited edition of 100 pieces paying homage to the ‘Atelier loaner’ watch is launched, and it certainly lived up to the expectation.
- Monochromatic in the coolness of a grey colorway, the duo dreamed up a perfect combo. Cased in lightweight Grade 5 Titanium and sized down to 38mm, the timepiece stay faithful to the original with a twist on the dial at 6 o’clock, this time printed “Not For (Re)Sale”.
- No longer quartz, the Classic Fusion is powered by the cal. HUB1110 providing a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement with a skeletonized Hublot rotor can now be viewed under the sapphire caseback. Engraved with numbered 033 of 100 pieces, the watch is even delivered with a co-branded service travel pouch as a further reference to the Hublot’s infamous Atelier watch.
- Impressive and contemporary with a minimalistic design, this Classic Fusion will definitely be a collectible one from Hublot.

Hublot
Swiss | 1980Hublot was founded by Carlo Crocco in 1980 and named after the French word for "porthole," which resembles their iconic bezel design. Hublot's first watch followed three years of research and was the first wristwatch to be fitted with a natural rubber strap. The brand's most recognizable watch today is the 'Big Bang', which was first launched in 2005 upon the arrival of CEO and shareholder Jean-Claude Biver. Other noteworthy models are the 'Classic Fusion' and 'King Power'.
