- Parmigiani Fleurier has been steadily expanding the Tonda PF lineage since its debut in 2021, introducing various complications such as chronographs, perpetual calendars, tourbillons, and even skeletonized models. However, the brand has not rested on its laurels, and at Watches and Wonders 2022, it presented a remarkable world's first – the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante.
- Innovative yet easy-to-use, the GMT mechanism features two superimposed hour hands, one in rhodium gold and the other in pink gold. Pressing the pusher at 8 o'clock jumps the rhodium-plated gold upper hand, dedicated to local time, by one hour, revealing the pink gold hand displaying the wearer's home time. When the wearer returns home, pressing the pink gold pusher integrated into the crown allows the rhodium-plated hand to return and take its place above the pink gold hand, much like the operation of a split-seconds chronograph.
- The striking elegance of this Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante is further enhanced by the barleycorn guilloché pattern on the blue dial. Complementing the exquisite fluted platinum bezel, the integrated bracelet not only accentuates the unique sports-chic appeal of the timepiece but also ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist.
