- With a 40mm case, a wonderfully balanced dial with nods to the past (such as the railway divisions) and being the last model of the line featuring the hallowed Lemania-based cal. CH27-70, the model is today considered one of the most collectible and attractive watches made by the brand in the current century.
-The present example is offered in excellent condition, most likely unpolished and with its certificate and additional back. The fact that the code date (APPH = 10 06) and written date (March 10, 2007) on the certificate differ is normal, as the code refers to when the watch was sold by Patek to the retailer, and the written date to when the retailer sold it to the final owner. An additional intriguing detail is the fact that the watch was retailed by the Gübelin boutique inside St. Mortiz's Badrutt's Palace Hotel, one of the winter hotspots for international jet set.
