Drawing from the Hommage collection, the present Roger Dubuis H40-57-5 is one of 28 limited edition time-only wristwatches. Since its launch in 1995, Roger Dubuis’ initial designs included the Hommage and Sympathie which feature a variety of complications and distinctive aesthetics. On the contrary, the firm’s time-only pieces became even more in demand due to their relatively minimalistic appearance and ageless design.
Featuring a subtle cream background, the dial is adorned with large applied Arabic numerals on the quarters, faceted gold dart hour indexes around the railroad-style minute and seconds scale. Along with the tastefully executed dial, this is also an extremely accurate timepiece that houses its famed automatic cal.57, on par with Observatory standards.
