The present watch is in wonderfully original condition and appears to be unpolished. According to the engraved inscription on the case back, the present watch was the prize of honour at the ISTUS 1937 International Model Glider Contest at the Hundsheimerkogel near Vienna, donated by the Federal Minister of Education.
