- A collaboration between iconic Parisian boutique Colette and Milan-based watch company Unimatic in 2016. The duo launched a series of three diver’s timepieces, each limited in production. The present with and incredible black stealth appeal is no doubt the coolest out of the three.
- Colette with an iconic logo of two blue dots was the temple of high fashion and streetwear located in the heart of Paris. A favourite by many such as Rihanna, Pharrell Williams and Karl Lagerfeld. On the other hand, Unimatic founded by a pair of industrial designers Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato creates refreshing limited runs of unique timepieces.
- Produced in only 50 pieces, the ref. U1-C Modello Uno takes on a unique and minimalistic approach to the concept of a diver’s watch. First of all, the watch is coated in black PVD, the dial is also in black with super luminova grey markers. The uni-directional bezel is pitch black with only one marker at 12. The double domed sapphire has an anti-reflective coating that glares with a blue hue that completes this uber cool timepiece.
- Numbered 45 of 50 pieces made, the present U1-C is in “like-new” condition and is powered by a Seiko NH35A calibre with hacking seconds that has up to 41 hour of power reserve.
