Taking its inspiration from the famed 222 designed by Jorg Hysek in 1977 to celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the firm. In 1999, the firm released their first Overseas model featuring a chronograph complication via the ref. 49140. The present Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph ref. 49152 featuring a handsome 42mm stainless steel case with an engraved caseback of a ‘Greek Trireme’ was released as a limited edition of 100 pieces for the Greek market. Paired tastefully with a deep blue guilloché dial with black registers and white indices and hands, not only does it exude a sporty appeal, but also enhances the legibility of the dial.
