Kang Jun Seok

Junseok Kang (b. 1984) lives and works in Jeju, South Korea. The artist received a degree in the Painting Department from Silla University. The artist is inspired by the surroundings and environment on Jeju Island, where he has resided since 2014, to create the utopia found throughout his compositions and instill a sense of peace and liberation for his viewers. 

Kang has shown work in numerous solo exhibitions, and most recent solo shows include My Mate in HK at Gallery Ascend, Hong Kong (26 March- 16 April 2022), and Ever Yours at LKIF Gallery, Seoul (7 August – 24 September 2022).
