Johanna Bath

Johanna Bath (b. 1980) Warendorf, Germany. Johanna lives and works in Hamm, Germany. She has diplomas from Bildkunst Akademie, Hamburg (2002), Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaft, Hamburg (HAW). She has had highly successful solo shows at Roman Road, London UK, and Enari Gallery, Amsterdam. The idea of time and everything that is linked to time emotionally such as memory, transience and the brevity of a moment drives Johanna’s practice. "Time, being abstract and therefore, tricky to paint, when connected to experience and memory, is filled with sentiment and emotion".
