    World's first pearl with coloured nucleus. GIA call it "the Galatea Pearl". It is a real cultured pearl Patent by Galatea # US20040112086A1. Created by nucleating an oyster with a man-made coloured stone bead, the pearl is hand-carved after harvesting to expose the colour beneath the nacre. The interior bead of this lot is man-made turquoise, specially manufactured to Galatea's specifications for the creation of this pearl.
