    Portrait of French architects Achille Leclère (left) and Jean Louis Provost (right) while studying in Rome, after a 1812 drawing by Ingres now at the Smith College Museum of Art. Louise Girard was a female painter and engraver; wife of Alexis François Girard, worked in collaboration with him, sometimes lettered as Mme Girard. This image was exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1850.
