  • Catalogue Essay

'I am happy with [my work] because I had fun making these things…to have an idea and see it realised, to follow it becoming a tangible manifestation is beautiful, pleasant. Understanding the work as form therefore, including the limits of the work, the perimeter, shows that the work in all its reality is objective. Sometimes in my work, in some of my works, the protrusions escape the boundaries of the work. This serves to highlight the fact that even the perimeter of the work is part of the form, that is to say that with these escaping protrusions, the perimeter becomes an internal part of the work, it is no longer an external limit.’ Agostino Bonalumi
