  • Catalogue Essay

    - Featuring a wandering hour display similar to those seen in the famous Star Wheel by Audemars Piguet and Urwerk timepieces, H. Moser & Cie releases their first wristwatch featuring such mechanism.
    - Released in 2018, the Endeavour Flying Hours is a limited edition of 60 pieces.
    - The way it works is based on three hour disks distributed around the central staff at 120 degrees. Each disk has a star wheel attached to it for proper indexing.
    - The hour disks don’t fly around the dial but maintain their positions at 4, 8, and 12 o’clock. The stationary disks point to the minutes as they rotate.
    - Featuring the firm’s signature fume dial in blue and with no signature on the dial, it is ironically immediately recognisable due to its unique appeal of the dial.
    - An unusual timepiece nonetheless with the firm’s signature traits, it is a perfect choice for collectors who appreciate the various methods of time display.
    - The present example from 2018 is offered with its full set of accessories and offered in excellent overall condition.
